Spy Studio was appointed to help rebrand Northern Ballet to be recognised as the 'Powerhouse of inventive dance'.
Brief:
Provide Art Direction, Create brand asset, Design marketing and advertising material.

Solution:
After an audit of the brand, it was apparent that imagery had to work hard, and a solution was needed to overcome clutter inherent to stage set photography. In order to condense and simplify the story, a flexible system was created using high speed photography to capture a moment involving the dancer with a 'hero object', water for swan lake as example.

Result:
A powerful and memorable brand is created, lead by a distinctive and consistent image style. Spy also created a suite of print and online collateral governed by brand guidelines to help toe the line in helping to engage with a wide range of audiences and increase attendance.
